Meet The Women Behind The Mic
Sarah Fitzgibbons, Corrie Carter, Monica Gebell, and Emily Horowitz met in 2014 when they worked to bring the
Listen To Your Mother* production to Rochester in order to support our SPCC: specifically, our city's women and children. When Emily relocated to Colorado, 2016 cast alum Sally Bittner Bonn joined the production team.
Since 2015, we have raised over $25,000 for Rochester's families.
We are committed to building community by giving local writers the means to share their true stories. In bringing together a cross-section of Rochester's voices with audiences, we hope to promote understanding, tolerance, and ultimately, acceptance of our citizens and cultures.
Our photographer, Debra Wallace, has been a devoted part of our shows since the start. Debra shares stories about her family and her adventures in photography here.
We love her. Check her amazing family photography and portraits.
We remember with love our very first reader, Bernadette Lynch. Her bravery extended far beyond the podium. Her smile was absolutely infectious. She embraced life with positivity and joy ~ she loved her family fiercely. Her story, her depth, her smile, and her laughter lives in our hearts.
