What brought you to Listen to Your Mother?

I was encouraged by a friend and co-worker to audition and I am thrilled that I did. I am not a mom and I cannot be a mom, in the traditional sense; however, I have an amazing mother and several other women, including my grandmother, that have impacted my life in positive, creative, and awe-inspiring ways. I also hope that I can be that, on some level, for the children and women in my life. I am thrilled to be able to share one of those stories with you.

What do you love about Rochester?

Rochester is a wonderful city that is rich with history. My family also has history here. I love to hear stories about my family, with the Rochester backdrop.

While some of the place are no longer or the names of changed, I am able to imagine where the story happened. Rochester has so much to offer. There is always something to do – always. There are great opportunities for community involvement. We have a philanthropic environment here and it makes our community stronger.

I love being part of this city!
